Who I Am.
Hi! I’m Hi-C.
I am a tenuously-employed twenty-something, whose greatest ambition is to one day be paid for something I write. (And to meet Timothy Olyphant and squeeze his bum.)
I am American. My family is Indian, and I was raised in various places in the Northeast. I come from a family of extremely strong, slightly terrifying women, and my parents have far too many degrees. Their combined academic and professional achievements have probably crippled me for life!
I’ve been known to appreciate a good fart joke or two in my life.
If you want to know more about me, don’t read this. It will tell you nothing. Read this instead.
I am a Nice Person, and will probably not kick you in the pants if you say hello to me. This does not apply if you are Donald Rumsfeld. I frigging hate that guy.

I am here to analyse and conversate about whatever strikes my fancy. It will vary from week to week. Here’s a list of my most used (and most interesting) tags and topics.
I am a liberal feminist. I’m also a massive science fiction and fantasy nerd. Here’s a little more on why I am a fangirl. I’m going to write about everything, but it will be from an explicitly political perspective.
One more thing: this is a personal blog, and my experiences and viewpoints on certain matters are not up for debate. If you’re cool with that, then go ahead and click the follow button.
